Refugees struggle to survive on Samos

4,600 refugees crammed into a camp built for 650. Food lines for hours, no safe shelter, nearly no running water and toilets! Those are the conditions for refugees on the Greek island of Samos, where we support the free medical clinic ran by our Hero Sophie Gédéon. This is heart-breaking but not unique, this is the hard reality that many in Greece, France, Italy, Bosnia and beyond endure.

Refugees are people just like us. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, fleeing war, persecutions and death. We will not close our eyes and ears to their plight and we hope you won't either.
