Forge for Humanity Athens, Greece 2022-2023
Goal Providing a safe space for people on the move and some training in basic skills

FORGE for Humanity advocated for men travelling solo to become equipped to fulfil their potential, and worked alongside them in navigating their way towards becoming independent and active members of society. They started in 2017. Our cooperation started in October 2022.

Human Aid Now provided a stipend for Alejandra and Jess, the founders and coordinators of the project. By helping them pay for their accommodation, food and other basic needs, we ensured the sustainability of the project as we believe a long-term volunteer is the linchpin of truly successful support.

End of the project

FORGE for Humanity increasingly suffered from lack of funding and despite our support they decided to close down the project in 2023.
