Medical translation and logistics for diagnostic care

Katie first arrived in Lesvos in 2018, intending to stay for only four weeks. However, three years later, she remains on the island. Working for different medical NGOs, she learned about the medical well-being and medical needs of the refugee population. This is why she founded Eudaimonia Medical Services. As Executive Director, Katie's role is multidisciplinary - everything from liaising with other actors about patient care and stakeholder management, to driving lunches to team members and translating for French patients - she covers both field work and administrative/management support, all the while looking after a team of 30 translators.
